My name is Mika and I’ve been playing videogames and reading manga since the 90s. In 1999 I attended my first anime convention and started cosplaying shortly after. I got completely hooked and made many, many costumes and visited many conventions over the next years.
Cons and the manga/anime community changed a lot since the early 2000s and with work and real life this hobby often has to take the back seat. Still, cosplay is something I always seem to come back to even if it is at a smaller scale.
Most of my costumes are handmade by me, often with cheap materials. I wanted to create a small space for my costumes and show that it is a hobby everyone can enjoy even with a small budget.
